I'm Ms. Amal

I am a passionate, committed educator and consider myself your child's learning partner. I find joy in designing a warm, safe, and inviting environment that motivates learning, nurtures growth, and, most importantly, connects with Islam.

My inspiration to establish Amana Early Learning Centre is rooted in the diverse experiences I have gained over the years. Starting with the contribution and establishment of the Islamic Art Program for preschoolers, with the Good Doers Charity Library Society in 2005, and from the various volunteer roles at the Calgary Islamic School, where my four children formerly attended. Completing an Early Learning and Childhood Care Diploma and Educational Assistant Certificate and ongoing professional development allows me to provide developmentally age-appropriate practice to support your child's interests, strengths, and needs. I am grateful and eager for the opportunity to integrate my experiences and pull from the knowledge I have gained to serve the children entrusted in my care.
